  Needs to work on customer service- I live in Oakdale and am remodeling my home. We had to replace some paneling so instead of waiting for another day so my contractor can get it from Home Depot I went to our two stores here in Oakdale. Neither had paneling. I was advised that Oberlin Builders would have paneling. I thought: Hmmm...on my lunch break, can’t drive to Oberlin and back on my lunch break, let me call them and see what they have. The guy answered the phone- told me he had 3 different paneling kinds.” Oh that is great! Can u take a pic of the 3 with your phone and text it to me?” So I don’t have to drive all the way to Oberlin. If I liked one I can just send my contractor to pick it up”, I said. Not a strange request considering everyone does everything by computers and phones these days. 5 minutes, take 3 pics, send them and BAM maybe a potential customer right?? WRONG!
  “The best thing to do is just come and take a look because pictures won’t do it justice”, he said. Really? Justice? I am not looking for justice..I purchase items on the internet all the time by just looking at a picture. I think I am passed the point of not knowing that seeing something in person is better than looking at a pic of it. Next time, just tell the truth- you are too lazy to do it. So what did I do? I said “ok never mind, thanks anyway”....then got on Home Depot’s website- purchased paneling from a picture and my contractor is on his way to pick it up.
  Thanks anyway Oberlin Builders...i’ll shop at Home Depot.
